ACCOUNTING

The program in Accounting is designed to help meet the needs of the business community and the economic and social development of the nation. Our purpose is to provide qualified accountants, produce expects, and up to date and ethical business leaders known for their ability to systematically think, analyze, and solve problems.   After finishing the Accounting Major students will be able to work in both public and private institutions. Students could be able to work in a lot of careers such as:

  • Accountant
  • Cashier
  • Bookkeeper
  • Consultant on taxes
  • Accounting Program Developer
  • Management Accountant
  • Financial Manager
  • Internal Auditor
  • And other careers related to Accounting.

1-OBJECTIVE

  1. Comprehend the policy, environmental, regulatory, and compliance issues of accounting.
  2. Understand and exercise the ethical and professional responsibilities of an accountant.
  3. Understand the content, concepts, structure, and use of internal and external reporting for organizations.
  4. Analyze, anticipate, and meet the information needs of decision makers.
  5. Understand different costing systems and their application to both manufacturing and service organizations.
  6. Comprehend and develop systems to identify, gather, measure, summarize, and analyze financial and non-financial data in organizations.
